Do I need any financial background to attend?
No prior knowledge is needed. Our workshops are designed for everyday households — not financial professionals. We cover organising and planning topics in plain language, and we focus on the practical steps households can take independently.
What topics do the rotating single workshops cover?
Current rotation includes: household record organising (what to keep, where to store it, who needs access), calendar planning for the twelve months before retirement, and preparing for family conversations about the transition. Each session stands on its own.
Can my spouse or partner attend with me?
Yes — and for the Household Retirement Year programme, two participants are the standard. Single workshop and three-workshop course seats are per person, so each attendee registers individually. We encourage couples to attend together where possible.
Where are workshops held?
Sessions take place at our office — Unit 9-A, Wisma Pantai, Lebuh Light, George Town, Penang. The venue is accessible by public transport and has parking nearby. Contact us by phone or email for directions.
How far in advance should I register?
Advance registration is preferred so we can prepare materials for the right number of participants. Walk-in seats are sometimes available for single workshops, but we cannot guarantee space. For the three-workshop course and the annual programme, advance booking is required.
